Loved their last album. Loved the ep before that (Northern Blue). Cant wait to hear this.

  2. I've heard something in the states could be coming "soon."

Purposely only listening to 32 before the album so I can get most of it fresh. And this is shockingly coming closer and closer. For some reason I thought this was an end of May release.

  4. 2 weeks! Going to post my review on the Thursday before. Give this week the Wilhelm Scream love for next Friday, and then post the review right before release.

Jason has me so excited for this - this band wasn’t even on my radar until Saturday’s newsletter, but I’m absolutely in love with the singles. Such major Green Day vibes without sounding derivative.

Keeping an eye on this, dug the three singles on Apple Music! I hear the Green Day that people are talking about in "Headstone". I don't know if I hear Gaslight specifically in "32" but I do hear that blue collar rock vibe from bands like The Replacements, old Goo Goo Dolls, or Banquets (I wish that band more popularity than they got). "Home" is a mix of both styles, is it the same singer on all three tracks? Good stuff.

I hear more Green Day and MCR in the new songs released. Last album was much more Gaslight Anthem for me.

    Regardless…these guys are good.

Banquets were sooo good, especially those first couple of albums

Yeah i agree. Was hoping for a vibe more in line with the last album, which i loved.. Not a huge fan of the singles out there so far.

  14. New album blows the previous out of the water.

    Sounds totally different though.
Does anything on the new one sound similar to the last album?

  16. I completely disagree that it sounds totally different. It's the same band, doing all the things they do great ... just better in every way.

did not really connect on the last album but, the apparent hype for this one made me revisit it and, definitely feeling it way more this time around, maybe the warm weather sneaking up is making it hit. either way, very excited to listen to this one.

I don’t think the new songs sound very far removed from the last record at all.

This sounds like Dave Hause/Loved Ones and I’m all for it.

I agree with the hause comparison. I thought the last album sounded like if dave took over as the singer for the gaslight anthem.

I’ve been revisiting their last album a lot the last month to get ready for next week. I have to say 62 (My Generation’s Falling Apart) is so freakin’ good. Would love more of that.

Do or do not, there is no try.

“and there’s another, as yet unannounced, tour with one of their main inspirations in the works.“

    Please be Gaslights UK Shows.

  25. Finished my review. All edited. Now just gotta plan which day to post it. Probably Wednesday or Thursday, depending on how antsy I get sitting on it. ;-p
