Random thought, but I'm almost annoyed at following MMA Fighting (the website) on social media these days. I swear half of their posts are screenshots of Conor or Nate's Twitter (if there's not an MMA Hour or an event currently happening). As if it's "news" every time one of those idiots decides to talk shit via tweets. Neither guy has won in years, I don't care what they have to say.

As if we needed more reason not to listen to Schaub who tried to spin this to make Chael appear to be some sort of hero. Dude allegedly went on a drunken, unprovoked rampage assaulting strangers (and potentially his own wife).

 

And he is claiming he took sleeping pills and doesn't remember any of it.

 

You guys remember that time they had to break the news about Khabib vs. Tony being canceled for the fourth time on April 1st? Ariel Helwani was borderline upset that people thought he was pranking them, but that honestly felt like a great prank at the time lol.

I hope there are some crazy upsets tonight or something. We need some excitement. I honestly hope that Khamzat keeps rolling though simply because he’s bringing so much intrigue to multiple divisions.

Also pulling for Darian Weeks to derail Ian Garry. He’s a local guy, and I judged a couple of his amateur fights back in the day.

 

Word going around that Volk might have a seriously hurt shoulder going into the main event.
