Just got the Fire Giant. Pro Tip: Sepukku and that big boy will fall quick.

 

This shields takes some getting used to but it’s badass

Decided to take a break from Elden Beast for a while. Instead I beat Commander Niall, went to the Haligtree, beat Loretta (first try!) and managed to get Malenia down to 1/3 of her health (second phase). Then she totally wrecked me, healed up to 2/3 and killed me. Feels nice to finally make som progress again though!

 

Probably my least favourite boss(es) after Fire Giant. Both the duo and the Noble solo fight in Volcano Manor frustrated me to no end. Why include pillars to take cover behind when they can just hit you through them? Fuck those bosses. I ended up deciding to over level, from ~90 to 120, and just brute force them. I found the next mandatory boss, Maliketh, to be just as hard, or even harder, but a lot more fun!

 

I had a lot of fun fighting the duo but I completely understand why they would be frustrating. I had a little bit of panic attack when the big guy from Volcano manor was one of them but with me, my mimic and the NPC summon it was pretty easy.

 

Godskin Noble was such a pain before I went back and got the marionette archer summon

 

i love my beaster shield against everyone but dragons

 

Maliketh is the worst and I won’t shut up about it lol

 

My journey 3 is going swimmingly so far though, but I hit redmane too early I guess and it’s full and I’m getting stomped out lol

I’m learning about so many npc summons that I didn’t use and I’m getting more bitter every time lol

i should be happy I did it alone but stilll

 

Only boss I called in NPC summons for was Radahn because that was part of the whole point of that fight. I usually try to play without using them.

 

Did you know about the one for the Fire Giant?

I literally only used the one for Godrick because I haven’t noticed any others and I’m in Journey 3 lol

 

I only used one for margit and that’s it so far

 

But I have been messing with co op and helping other people but I think my level is too high for any bosses that aren’t end game because I don’t get summoned very often unless I drop it in the ashen capital or azula
