Bianca/Becky honestly has the most heat of anything headed into Mania, with the exception of KO and Austin

 

They should have gone more hardcore with the haircut though. Would have been pretty awesome, plus extensions exist! All the women wear a ton of them with the exception of Bayley

 

When Cody left WWE was he Cody or was he Stardust? If/when he comes back as Cody I wonder how many of the younger fans will even know/remember him. Might be a super awkward crowd response, not sure how much of a pop Cody will get.

 

Just seeing the news about Steiners in the HOF. Wasn't Scott Steiner banned from attending the WWE HOF years ago for making threats against Hulk Hogan?

 

I think he was done with the Stardust gimmick if I remember right.

I think it really depends on how he’s presented. But if he does appear against Rollins, it won’t give any time for any kind of build up.

Enough people must know the relevance now I would think.

Agreed. Kaz (on the Masked Man Show) last week was trying to justify the build-up of several feuds to Wrestlemania as controlled chaos that makes for viewer uncertainty and surprise. Except Cody to WWE is the worst kept secret in the business, and pretending you have no plan for Rollins and others just represents a lack of good writing.

If your product is better off for dragging your heels for months (Rollins), having multiple feuds carried by 1 person (KO and Rollins) or otherwise just throwing everything at the wall and hoping something sticks (Charlotte and Rowsey), you've got systematic problems. And that doesn't even get me started on them clearly having no plans for their midcard belts.

 

why am i supposed to be invested in seeing rollins and rhodes fight, there's no story being told, they don't have a history to draw upon, and they aren't competing for anything

 

Because it’s WM man. Seriously this is all time awful. Building Omos and Lashley in one night is so lazy too. I can’t remember a worst built WM. I can’t wait to hate watch this. I’m hoping it’s at least entertainingly bad instead of boring.

i'm not so sure it's cody. if vince is the one announcing his opponent in the ring, then it would have to be someone that has his endorsement. i'm actually thinking it's bron breakker. his father and uncle are being inducted into the hall of fame this weekend. could be just the 'debut' to the main roster bron needs. yeah, i know, he's wrestling earlier in the day at nxt stand and deliver... so???

maybe it's tomasso ciampa. again, would be unexpected since he will have competed earlier in the day, and i would assume after his 'speech on nxt tv a few weeks ago, that he's main roster bound.

I will be howling if it’s not Cody. That’s about the only way to make this worse. The crowd will turn on whoever it is if it’s not Cody.

 

It will be exactly like Cena Taker. They will send an Elias level person out first, they get squashed, Seth is like is that all you got, then Cody.

Honestly, this is 90% of the WM matches. Like, why is Roman v Brock even that big a deal? In kayfabe unifying the belts is a big deal, but in the real world its just match #6 between them or whatever. There's no drama because we know whoever wins is gonna go undefeated forever anyway. The matches with actual heat or stories are the celebrity ones, oddly enough.

He was definitely Stardust. And I think thats why they are debuting him at WM instead of at a RAW. A WM crowd will 100% pop for him because they know...but a random RAW crowd, depending on the city, might not

 

I don't want to sound hyperbolic or like an AEW mark or something but...I put on Raw last night and it was borderline unwatchable for me. 40 mins of promos and then a match that lasts 4 mins. How do people do this every week

 

My mom was a "watches all of Raw and Smackdown every single week no matter what" person even when it got real bad. Even she recently stopped because she says it's gotten too stupid.

 

Yeah, I made it til about 9:30 with it as background noise, and there wasnt a single enjoyable moment aside from Seth Rollins being WAY over the top with his laughing.

I watched a formerly dominant tag team job out to Omos, a super messy 8-woman tag, and the IC champion get pinned in under 2 minutes. What I missed was apparently Drew winning a handicap match against a guy he's facing in singles competition on Saturday...
