    Struggle isn’t new, but these days struggle feels universal. Double Gainer was formed through the current struggle of isolation and learning to be alone. This project was originally just a cathartic release between friends [but a]s the music came together, the band took shape and grew into something much more than an isolation project. Such Is Life blends early-aughts songwriting, soaring vocals, and distortion-drenched guitars to create a catchy, heart-wrenching sound all their own.
