I bought In Keeping Secrets in 2004 after listening to it at an HMV listening booth... first heard Blood Red Summer and my teenage brain was like WTF IS THIS I LOVE IT

Of sugar and ice I am made

I remember downloading Second Stage on Limewire freshman year of college, and then buying IKS at release in my local music store.

25-45 minute album lengths are ideal, anything more and it's annoying, anything less and I usually want more

It’s time for this band to be playing a minimum 2 and half to 3 hours a night like Pearl Jam

Don't ask me why I'm listening to Alien Ant Farm on a Friday night but does this song sound like old Coheed to anyone else? Backend of Forever-ish kinda?

    "I'll chew on a dog!"

That AAF record is an absolutely banger, MJ cover be damned.

Strange coincidence, I threw on Alien Ant Farm a few nights ago. Movies, These Days and Glow are still bangers.

Hadnt really listened to these guys since IKS when i was in college. Somehow lost track of them. My buddy sent me Liars Club the other day, which i loved and sent me down a rabbit hole to all albums post IKS.

Really really love Good Apollo 1, NWFT, and Unheavenly Creatures.
Rainbow and Color I didnt care for.
Afterman if it was combined and the fat cut out, would have been great as one album. Still some great selected songs between the two.

Also: the Great Sentencer makes me want to run thru a wall....in a good way.

I've been a Coheed fan since 2003 or 2004 and I agree with everything you've said.

Unheavenly creatures (the album) pretty much blew me away. Had no clue they still had that in them.

Descension is better but Ascension has Mothers of Men and Evagria.

Going to the tour in Aug and can’t wait. Hopefully they bust out Gravity’s Union

i pretty much can't think of the afterman as two separate albums, it just works best as one large piece to me. but, the run from sentry to gravity's union is some of their best stuff!

Descension would be better if Iron Fist didn’t exist.
