The Gaslight Anthem have announced they’re back. A new album is in the works. I think I speak for everyone when I say, “let’s fucking goooooooo.”

First Midtown and now Gaslight. As my buddy put it, now we're just waiting for the crown jewel of Tom rejoining Blink.

I knew the band wouldn’t just tease tour dates because they’d have no problems selling tickets and they wouldn’t do that to fans. The fact that they are back work’s happening on an LP6 is great news and more than I could have hoped. I was wondering if it would be more of a single or reissue, but this is great news. The hope has always been for Gaslight and Brian solo albums to both exist as a fan.

Ass Clown here: Get Hurt is awesome, and is their most interesting and diverse album. Anyway, this is a magnificent day and can't wait for what's next!

Get Hurt is awesome. Definitely darker lyrically, and a little more disjointed sequentially, but brilliant none the less. It never felt like that should be the album the band ends on, and now we know it’s isn’t.

This is the first reunion that really hit me. I’ve missed this band so much and I can’t believe they are back. They can do whatever they want, I’m just glad they are making music again. All of the idiots who complained about Get Hurt can pound sand. It’s still a fantastic album and you’re part of the reason this band went on hiatus. I’m very much looking forward to seeing them live again. Probably my favorite live band of all time.

I like Get Hurt fine, I just don’t think it’s nearly as enjoyable as the other four.

Totally understandable. There’s a few songs I don’t quite vibe with, but it also has some of my favorite Gaslight songs. It’s still a very good record IMO. Its my least favorite, but that’s only because everything they had done before was absolute gold.

I just don’t get the venomous reaction people had because they didn’t like few songs on the album. I didn’t dig Stray Paper or Stay Vicious, but I appreciate the band for branching out and trying new things. I don’t need to absolutely love everything a band does. That’s some entitled perspective I just don’t get.

59' sound and American Slang are really great records, and I love Handwritten too. Sink or swim is cool and Get Hurt is not as bad as it's been told.

    Very excited.
