man, i might need to get to one of the dates on this tour simply because it looks like Calais to Dover is on the setlist.

Yeah looks like they didn't change the set that much from the summer shows but they did add some DITW stuff that will make the 2 shows I'm going to on this run a little different.

Seeing them for the first time in 3 months. Glad they added more from this album

Never seen em, but considering going on Saturday as good seats are relatively cheap. How are they live?

They were so good tonight. It was my first time seeing them and I was very impressed. Apparently at the Madison show yesterday Conor was trashed on stage but he seemed fine tonight. All in all a great time!

  10. He flubbed a few lyrics but otherwise they were great.

Seeing them Saturday for the first time in 11 years and am pretty jacked about it. (I did see BOCC in 2019)

I saw some videos from Friday’s show where Conor was definitely completely out of it so hoping he’s OK.

a lot of clips on Instagram (search by either The Sylvee location or just #BrightEyes). Many of the captions too talking about how…not sober he was. Videos of him rambling between songs.

    No judgement

  15. I worry about him sometimes. I just see reports of him being out of it at shows so often

Conor fell off the stage during tonight's show and apparently was trashed once again

  17. That's a shame. We have tickets to Wednesday's show here but honestly if that's how it's gonna be we might skip it

Best Bright Eyes show I ever saw (fall 2006), Conor was obliterated by the end and falling everywhere. So it’s not a guarantee it’s gonna be bad. That said, last summer he was pretty wasted from the moment he arrived on stage and it was still a fun show, but easily among the weaker BE sets I’ve seen.

i can’t imagine wanting to not go to a show bc the singer of the band is drunk, do you just never go to concerts?

  21. I'm a little concerned since half the time I've heard about their show reports this has come up. being tipsy or drunk on stage is fine if you're able to make it work but when you're falling off the stage at your show that's a personal safety issue. love him and love this band. and no judgement from me as I love a drink as much as the next person. I just hope Conor is OK first and foremost really.

right, falling off the stage is another point where it's actually dangerous. being just generally trashed at a show is pretty tame though

Go to the show! I’ve seen him a bunch over the years - not trying to brag at all - and he’s been great every time regardless of how sober he was/wasn’t

I ended up going to the Saturday show in Chicago and I guess we got him on his break from drinking day because he didn't seem drunk at all. Pretty awesome & entertaining concert.
