This made me think of conversation we had at a work about all the old timey names that kid's are not being named. Mo belongs on that list. My first contribution was Lyle.

Having most of my extended family in southern Minnesota, aka farm country, with extensive Scandinavian roots, I remember seeing and hearing tonnss of weird old-timey names

 

Yeah the Scandinavian aspect definitely adds some spice to those. I totally can relate with my extended family being from farm country Michigan. I should go back and look at the family tree my dad did for his side and get a laugh out of those names.

 

The person you know sounds stupid in that tweet, and stripped of context it sounds like you're just retweeting it.

 

Matt are you saying the tweet is trivializing the greater issue or is there something more specific in the language?
I didn't have the same reaction to it so I'm just hoping to clarify.
