this is along the lines of what I was expecting, and I probably would have talked myself into it. As it stands I’ll just stick to my version from like 2010 that has Sal on it.

 

I would really like to see them expand on the kind of sound they hit with I Feel it Too, Holy Water and Find a Way. that kinda spacious, massive, artier sound is so fucking good on them

I think John and Shaun are fantastic musicians, I love a lot of the Straylight material, but they simply don’t work as well in TBS as Fred or (and I know you meant Rubano but) honestly Matt Fazzi has. I do love Rubano so I would love for him to come back too.

Regardless, the band’s best material are WYWTB, LN, and NA. It’s been mostly downhill ever since.
