beat writers have been saying since the start of free agency the twins have been looking to make moves, especially after being able to move on from Donaldson and his contract. Even if it is just for a year definitely think you still gotta do it since no one ever comes here, lol.

 

Good move that could turn into a great one if we acquire some pitching. Context matters though so if we don't, I still can't see us competing for a playoff spot.

Also, I'm glad it's only a three-year deal which prevents Royce Lewis from being blocked too much. Maybe Correa opts out after year one. Lewis can rake in AAA this year and they can reassess where he fits into the picture. Maybe by that time they will want to trade Arraez or Polanco. Or they could move Lewis to the outfield and trade Kepler. Also possible Lewis never pans out so there is a lot of flexibility with this move.
