This new ASIWYFA is so good. Especially Submerge, Emerge, and the title track

 

I haven't heard a note

so I'm going to see them perform the whole fucking thing on Friday in Belfast at their release show

feels weird to be going to a seated ASIWYFA show lmao

 

I just threw it on this morning. Gorgeous.

 

so last night was absolutely fucking staggering. can barely believe this is the same band somehow.

 

If I can do a bit of shameless self-promotion, we're a small post-rock band from Manchester, UK, and our EP comes out on March 4th. This is a song we've released, features Noam Chomsky quotes and a wall of noise chorus, which should check all post-rock boxes.

 

Seeing GY!BE tomorrow for the first time in a few years. I'm very ready to feel every feeling for about 2 hours and then be numb for two or three weeks after.

Design Flaw - Beasts of a Future Decay

If I were to describe this as some kind of amalgamation of Pillars, Holy Fawn, SOM and Gates, it would surely set a bunch of people up for disappointment, so I won't do that.

 

This is fantastic.

 

Where the heck did these guys come from!? So much yessssss. They have a dash of Deftones or Moving Mountains in there too.

 

These guys need to jump on a tour with Thrice or someone and blow up. Easily the best new band I've come across in the last couple years! Their EP is so solid all the way through too.
