I found it to be a fascinating read. Really sounds like Freddie and his reps screwed up his free agency. Don’t try to back AA into a corner, it will blow up in your face. And with all the info coming out now, the Braves offer was very much a great offer. But holy shit, that Tampa Bay offer! If Freddie didn’t have ties to California, I would assume he’d be a Ray right now. But who knows, his agent would have fucked that up too probably.

So what's the gist of the Freeman/AA Saga for those of us that don't have ESPN+

 

It read like AA leaked like crazy to make himself look good.

 

Freeman didn’t have the market him and his agent thought he had. He demanded a contract from the Braves that was more than what he eventually got with the Dodgers.

I stand by AA in this saga.
