I saw some ads for Taylor Swift themed nights and now this? Didn't she have like 1 big song? I totally blame Emo Nite for this

 

She"s definitely had at least 3 big hits, but yeah, I don't know if these artist-themed nights will work as well for artists other than Taylor.

 

Doja is absolutely massive lol

 

I like the Pier in NYC in terms of overall vibe but the sound is so shitty.

Grouplove/Manchester Orchestra would actually make sense as a tour.

 

Are these drawing decent crowds anywhere? They Taylor Swift one they did in my city had less than 50 people in a 500 person club, it was bizarre.

ugh I'm sure plenty of people will pay $61 for all of these, but no way.

It's always been a shitty day in the park with awful side-stages, mediocre food, and totally random vendors.
Pretty sure I paid $30 for The Front Bottoms & The Get-Up Kids 3 or 4 years ago.

 

she literally just played a free show her, so technically you could’ve seen the real thing for cheaper than this

 

I don't like the artist nights (i.e. the Doja one being discussed) because it feels like someone else profiting over an artist's work. Unless the artist has their blessing and is receiving compensation, it feels icky.
