Yeah, my date was in the original batch announced-- $60 for 300 level, $180 for GA. These new dates' prices are ridiculous.

Yeah these prices for MCR are out of control. I ended up getting lodge seats two rows back from the stage (somewhat behind the stage though) for $125 after fees but the section next to me is $350 before fees

I've seen MCR enough from 2004-12. Happy for people who' e never seen them getting a chance but it's just not worth $400 or so for nostalgia purposes.

  6. My ass saw them for $12 in 2002 so I’m set

Saw them for free at a Best Buy parking lot awhile back a the donnas opening for them, at Warped 04, and the black parade tour at Great Western Forum. Combined price for all those shows is still less than even then reunion tickets I had for the original Boston date.

    Things have changed.

Warped Tour 2005 was a hell of a time.

I was the right age to have seen them but live in Nowheresville, New Hampshire so missed out. Looks like I will never get a shot

The surge pricing for pit in Nashville cooled down a bit to $345 after fees. If it gets down to the $250 range I might bite but, God, shit is absolutely insane.

Also, for anyone in Michigan in here that didn't hear, on Tuesday, Baby Keem's show at St. Andrew's Hall in Detroit had to be stopped early due to the floor breaking, and now all shows at the venue are either getting rescheduled to different venues or cancelled.

Can these prices possibly hold in the resale marketplace?

I have to imagine some folks will take a loss on their tickets if they end up having to sell them closer to the date

It’s really sad… but they do tend to oversell

I bought a ticket to The Weeknd at the Jets stadium only to be reminded my friend's wedding is that day. RIP

Got a MCR/ Turnstile ticket. Lower bowl aisle $170. I'll take that over the 2020 date's resale prices.

the levels of popularity from GNRs two records and MCRs two (honestly probably three) are not remotely similar lol

Right? Appetite is arguably a Top 10 most influential rock record ever released. TBP hit at the exact right time, American Idiot had the scene primed for a more adventurous take on the rock-opera.

  20. No it’s not arguable lol, if anyone tries to argue that Appetite *isn’t at least* one of the 10 most influential rock records ever made you should laugh and walk away. You don’t have to like GNR but it’s the truth

  22. Exactly haha

  23. (the cover of knocking on heavens door fucking goes tho)

  24. lol wait sorry but doesn’t the fact that GNR is so much bigger just strengthen @ManchesterOrch8 ’s observation that MCR isn’t unique here? No one said their “two successful albums” were similarly successful.

  25. phaynes12

my point was that GNR weren’t gouging prices. the prices were accurate for a band as big as they are. MCR are gouging prices.
