Anyone who’s been to the Touché dates so far, what time does Vein go on?

 

I can’t get over Versus Wyoming and Funeral Sound

 

They went on around 9:10 last night. The Meg thing was cool. Injury Reserve was hanging around in the crowd too, that was a fun world’s collide thing. Music this chaotic has no right to sound so good live haha, but they sounded super dialed in and the crowd gave them more than any other band on the bill by far. At one point I heard a guy next to me yell into his friend’s ear “okay I guess I like metal”

 

Really hope the weather doesn't keep me from going on Friday

 

How did I miss this coming out? Fuck, gonna fix that right now.

This album was very good

 

Patrick was right when stating the later half will give us late 90’s alt vibes. They closed this perfectly imo

 

yep lots of far/deftones/NIN in the last two songs

 

“Orgy in the Morgue” is so sick, crazy that one guest appearance puts them one degree of separation from A$AP Rocky and Project Pat

 

Also I have a very hard time figuring out the dude from Jeromes Dream’s guest appearance on “Hellnight”, where is he on the song

 

The fire marshal just shut down their show three songs into the set. What I saw was insane though.

 

On the touché tour?

 

Yup. Here in Dallas. Apparently the fire marshal said it was oversold or something, but I've been to this venue 100 times and it wasn't even half as full as many shows I've been to there

 

So the entire show got shut down? No touché? That sucks

 

The whole thing sucked, because on the venue/ticketing website everything said doors at 7, show at 8, but I got there right at 8 and Thirdface had already played. I at least got to see Gleemer and like 6 minutes of Vein but that was it.

(which to be fair, the first time I saw Vein their entire set was that long - see below)

 

I listened to this album twice today and I learned I could have my face burned off more than once.

 

Damn that’s awesome

 

Just saw them, absolutely insane

 

I wish there were 200% more turntables on this record but it gets better with every listen
