I think it just kinda matters when you got into them. I prefer Gami Gang slightly but it was my first taste of them. Somewhere City's awesome too.

 

I have to give somewhere city another go, on the first listen I don't think I digged it too much so I never went back to it. Plus I wanted to listen to Gami Gang on repeat at that time.

 

Everything Gami touches is gold.

 

These sum up my thoughts pretty accurately. Nothing wrong with GG but as an album experience SC takes it for me.

 

I think I prefer Gami Gang, but I've spent a lot more time with that one so maybe that opinion will change eventually.

Also does anyone know if they've had vinyl on this tour?

 

Holy fucking SHIT did they blow the roof off Minneapolis.

 

They did well in Chicago. Felt like they slowed down a couple songs though

 

Gami Gang is album of the decade for mine. And I'd never heard of them until that one dropped. Instantly blown away.

 

Has Origami Angel been announced/announced any tour dates beyond the Spring? Really want to see them on their own tour or at least co-headlining or something.

 

Just found a limited edition Red/Blue/Green vinyl in a local store. Stoked to have this as part of my collection now.

 

Gami Gang is better than Somewhere City in every way IMO. Though I love both.

I still throw on Somewhere City when I need that pop punk fix but ngl I haven’t come back to this once since like... maybe a month after it released

 

I still listen to this regularly.

Is bass a backing track for them? They don't have a touring bassist?

 

It's something like he runs a pedal set up that basically pulls a bass note out of the chord he's playing at an octave below.

 

Really hoping this band can click with me at some point, it SHOULD be so up my alley

Yeah. It looks like he routed a middle pickup in his Jag specifically for a bass signal. His whole setup is pretty rad. I like seeing all of those TC Electronic pedals on his board. Makes me feel better about my setup.

Palette Knife are so good, would love to see them on a full tour with Origami

 

Cover feels weird with super clean vocals but this band's pretty cool. I think it's a good idea to cover a band that fans would listen to and also like as opposed to another random post malone song.

Liking them a lot. Nice find.
