Very grateful for the level headed response I just read about the Cain situation from all of you. He could’ve very easily killed any other person in the path and honestly, people like him who feel blind rage and answer the issue by picking up a gun are exactly the type that make me support gun control/bans.

That Eagle FC card was pretty fun. It’s wild seeing Chael, Usman, Cejudo and Khabib in the same place.

I was honestly pretty impressed with Diego. Of course he was a step behind (as he should be) but he actually looked like a competent fighter. Sometimes he looks like he has no idea how to fight lol. It was impressive that he took Kevin to a decision and even damaged his knee considering Diego almost died of COVID not that long ago.

 

I like that Kris Mountinho guy and he’s tough as well, but the guy has been standing TKO’ed in his last two… He might need to consider his health at a certain point.

Crazy that he looked like he was going to beat Cejudo for a second and now he’s basically lost six in a row. His only win since was against Aldo where everyone thought he lost (and Aldo was given a title shot afterwards), followed by four straight KO losses. You gotta feel for the guy.

 

I'm kind of the opposite on this. He's 34, neither of them are going to be grapplers. Cash in while you can before Izzy moves to 205.

 

Agreed. We're sort of in a lull of contenders for Izzy right now anyway unless they somehow shove Khamzat up there at Middleweight which probably will not happen at any point soon...

Plus, there's hardly any chance Pereira gets by anyone in the top 10 or 15 with significant grappling. Much less Brunson, Vettori, Cannonier or Whittaker.

I definitely feel for Moraes and he was somebody I fully expected to be a title contender once he joined the UFC. Crazy to see him get finished 4 times in a row and I can’t imagine he’ll be resigned at this rate.
