Looks like the last track is 6 parts! Ppl spying roman numeral subtitles in the lyric book by zooming in on pictures posted on social media.

Side D being ONLY the title track has had me curious for a while... still cautiously optimistic. I hope it is just one song with a bunch of movements and not 6 shorter songs crammed in to one.

based on the section names, i wonder if its just one song, but each section is "narrated" by a different character. the lyric sections for both the mother and father are short

Lyrics might be short, but what about the 10 minute guitar solo in each section?????

Anyone see what the print run is for the one on their store? Was able to to get one, nice looking all around!

I could've sworn it said 3500 pressed. Don't see it anymore. And DAMNIT it's sold out!

Ugh I’m completely broke until next week when I get paid again and if all variants are already sold out today I have no chance by the time next week rolls around

Had a couple of copies left in my basket, still let me check out even after it had sold out so pretty happy with that, also assume they'll release more eventually if their back end in Shopify wasn't giving me the typical Sold Out message so keep your eyes out if you missed out.

Really hope this album leans more into the bangers like The Liars Club than most of the stuff on Unheavenly Creatures which felt a bit long and tired after a while. Coheed are at their best with their Blood Red Summer/Number City type bops imo

I agree with this in terms of power ballads - there's too many power ballads on Unheavenly Creatures. However I'll be disappointed if Vaxis 2 doesn't have its own "The Gutter" or "Dark Sentencer"

I disagree but I think that's part of the magic of Coheed, that we can be here hyping the same band two completely different reasons, and it adds to the magic that I don't think our satisfactions with the new record has to be mutually exclusive

I disagree that the poppy numbers are Coheed at their best, but I do think they are better when the poppy songs run under 4 minutes and only stretch the songs out when its necessary. I’m hopeful based on the track lengths so far. Liars Club and Shoulders definitely had fat trimmed off, and I love the extended bridge of Rise Naianasha.

I feel like UHC was widely considered their best effort in over a decade, and I doubt it's a coincidence it was also their least poppy in years. And pretty much none of the shorter "bops" on it did much for me other than Old Flames.

Then again, I'm the guy who considers Blood Red Summer to be the one blight on an otherwise perfect record, lol.
