I want Tom and Matt together, it’s a much more interesting scenario than just the other three guys writing together. They could also use a second guitar live

 

Tom coming up with wacky ideas, Mark keeping it old school, Matt finding the balance between both and throwing in some dark sprinkles where he can, and Travis just hitting shit. Kinda sounds fun.

But I’d prefer it to be how it currently is, honestly. Especially since Nine ruled.

 

Saw a tik tok the other day where a guy was talking about how his aunt used to date “Matt Skiba from blink-182” and it made me feel so old that that’s what he’s known for now lol

 

Also wild how casual listeners still might not know there was ever a band member swap

 

It’s still insane to me that the first Blink song Jxdn ever heard was “Darkside” and then he did an album with Travis. So weird.

The discussion in the 2003 albums thread and in here had me thinking about Untitled and then No Heart To Speak Of came on shuffle for me the other day and it had me thinking about how some Matt-era songs would fit on Untitled, assuming it got the same production sound of htat album. No Heart To Speak Of definitely would have fit IMO

 

I wanna rank it like 5th on that album but I easily listen to it the most haha. I could honestly never get sick of it.

 

My sister and childhood buddy who engineers and produces did a rendition of There Is with the drumroll and a violin at our wedding for my Wife's walk down the aisle. It was so badass.

 

Does Pin the Grenade count?

If/when these guys start playing again, they defs need to add Pin the Grenade to their set list.

So what your saying is, if Tom comes back, we're like 4-5 years away from: "I want the classic Blink lineup back! - Mark, Travis, and Matt".

If Tom came back and Matt stayed I wonder how they would rearrange their stage formation
