    1) Woah, didn't think Bayside was big enough to co-headline with Thrice. Cool pairing. The venue they're doing in my city feels slightly big for this, so not worried about it being a sell out

    2) Pitchfork's got a great lineup this year, and seeing Camp Cope on there makes me excited for an inevitable US tour

    3) Ahhhh Regina Spektor AND Norah Jones at Forest Hills Stadium, that's a hell of a bill!

Thrice did 600 tix in my market last fall and Bayside (with Senses Fail) did 1600. Either way you cut that co-headliner it's still pretty even

To be fair to everyone’s surprise about the co-headline:

in terms of Spotify numbers, thrice has double the amount of monthly listeners that bayside does. Now that doesn’t mean all those people come to shows, so that’s probably why it’s a co-headliner. Clearly bayside knows how to get their fan base to show to gigs

Where's the sad summer announcement? Thought it was supposed to happen last week so I figured it got delayed to early this week

weird how major US fests wouldn't touch Green Day for the past 15yrs, and now they're popping up everywhere. looks like they're officially a legacy act now.

Yeah, even the tour Bayside headlined last fall with Senses Fail and Hawthorne Heights. Both those bands have more than double the monthly Spotify listeners than Bayside, yet Bayside clearly has way more fans.

It's actually really cool to see that Bayside, 20+ years in, continues to creep up in venue sizes despite never really being a household name or having had bigger hits/mainstream play than their peers.

I also feel like they've become one of the more respected bands in the 'scene.' due to their longevity and consistency.

Anyways, really looking forward to the CLE date.

I haven’t seen Bayside live in sometime. Last week I was saying I didn’t know if I’d ever go see them again as they’ve been to town many times and I just never have any desire to go see them anymore. Welp. I guess now that they are touring with Thrice I will see them again. I’m sure I’ll be snot the set.

I would bet Bayside's Spotify monthly listeners are lower because they never had a breakthrough hit. Like Lustra has over double the monthly listeners of Bayside, but that's just because of how many playlists have Scotty Doesn't Know on them.

Yeah monthly listeners is a very weird metric that's always been very fascinating to me
