My family all has Type A and we all had very mild Covid, so once again science is proven WRONG!!!

Interesting. Had a friend try to claim fit people don’t get it bad, another friend who is probably the fittest person I’ve ever met chimed in to say it ruined him for weeks.

Mask wearing is pretty much nonexistent here at this point. Just got lifted at my kid’s daycare and the email alert was like a celebration. We’ve done nothing. Can’t wait to get sick more often though! This administration has been awful with covid, the one area I was sure would be a huge improvement.

 

I am Type A- and thankfully I haven't had Covid. Everyone in my family got it around Christmas this year but me (I live with my brother and he and his GF had to quarantine at our place. 12 days of cleaning and sanitizing every inch of our apartment). and the guy I was seeing in January got it as well.

Not sure if it was all the weed I smoke or the Antibiotics I was on from June-October 2021(I also got my covid shots in October and November of 2021)...but somehow *Knocks on wood* i've been very very lucky.

 

My mom and I have had some healthy discussions around the topic, like where she begins to come to a compromise on things, but I'm confident I'll never be able to fully break her from some of her lines-of-thought. The issue is she will have a healthy discussion with me on a variety of hotly-debated topics, then go post some absurdity on Facebook for her pals to latch on to.

I have only discussed politics at length with one other far right person over the last few years, and there's no changing that asshole's mind lol.

 

Econ minded people-is it possible high fuel/oil prices crush inflation in some other areas by tamping down demand? I assume it won't be a HUGE effect becuase the large majority of the inflation seems to be caused by car prices and oil right now anyway, but just curious
