Damn, glad I didn't get a ticket to tonights show because they were the main reason I wanted to go.

I’m going tomorrow and I’m annoyed. I was going for them and underoath. I’m still gonna to and have a good time. I just wonder what they are gonna do to fill that time or if the show will just be shorter and all the bands will play their normal sets

Having gone last night, I would expect same length sets. Spiritbox only played 30 minutes as direct support which I thought was odd.

Spiritbox was promoted to main support, but they didn’t get a new contract so they decided to not have a longer set since they were still getting the original opening cut or something like that.

I don't blame them for doing it but at the end of the day the people getting screwed are their fans.

Yeah, even just getting to 45 minutes (I'm assuming ETID would've had an hour) would be a savvy business move as they seem to be winning over new fans at every stop of the tour. Add in "Sun Killer," "Yellowjackets," and like "Secret Garden" or "The Summit" and it would be a perfect support set.

Their set is likely timecoded and they don't think it's worth redoing it.

Wow, was not expecting the Bayside co-headliner to be with Thrice. I'm a far bigger Bayside fan, but would imagine Thrice is way bigger than them.

Also, HOB in Cleveland seems way too small for that show. Bayside just headlined the Agora in September of 2021, which is bigger. Thrice has headlined the Agora a few times as well.

    Interesting.

Had no idea Porcupine Tree was that big. I love that song "Shallow" though which I fully realize is not really indicative of their overall vibe.

I feel like the lack of west coast dates on the Bayside tour could be because they are doing something around the time of WWWY. Surprised to see them coheadlining with Thrice. I assumed Thrice is much bigger.

  24. Wow, Thrice & Bayside are bands I've really loved in the past but not been very connected to for close to a decade, and Anxious's record is still one of my top 5 for the year so far...

Pretty cool combination and a great excuse to give the headliners' recent stuff some more attention. I've already talked myself out of buying tickets ahead of time, but especially if they're playing the Pier 17 Rooftop in NYC, I'll check out the resale market later for sure.

Thrice seems to be one of the most "depends who you ask" bands in the scene for sure.
I've seen them received very differently by crowds I didn't expect variations from.
