Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

Ordered it solely to not have to carry the posters around at the show on Monday lol

As someone who couldn’t go to this tour I’m grateful to be able to watch the livestream.

This is my show and I did the same thing haha. I wish they had the tour date shirt up as well. It’ll be cool to watch it again after the show

  10. This show was really special. Some assorted thoughts:

I really can't hang in TWY pits anymore. I was up front for all of the openers and lasted until the first chorus of "Came Out Swinging" before deciding to hang further back.

They sounded great. I remember when Dan's voice could barely hold up through a dozen of these songs, but he sounded really strong all night.

I like that Dan very pointedly doesn't sing the "great white hope" line in "Local Man" anymore.

Got the encore I wanted — "I Was Scared and I'm Sorry" and "Me vs the Highway," two songs I'd never seen live before.

There were plenty of posters at the end of the night. Glad I went that route instead of ordering from the live stream site.

These albums are such perfect time capsules of a specific time in my life (end of high school and the first couple years of college). They were just always playing - in my car, between sets at shows, in the background in my dorm. I remember a band practice where my whole band realized we had all separately learned how to play every song on Suburbia so we just spent the entire day playing Wonder Years covers. I have friends that I literally met in line for TWY shows. So many relationships and friendships formed and fell apart around these albums, and thinking about all of those people and all of those moments last night was almost overwhelming. God damn, I love this band.

The first time I listened to Sister Cities all the way through I did not like it and it was the first time I thought that maybe this band wasn’t for me anymore. But I’ve definitely come around. It Must Get Lonely is top 5, maybe top 3 from the entire catalog for me
