It's wild to me that Colby and Jorge have a combined one win against anyone in the current top 15 at Welterweight. And that one win is Jorge's win over Chiesa at Lightweight nine years ago. It's just crazy how quickly the landscape can change since this is mostly due to people like Till, Maia, RDA, Lawler, Woodley, etc. dropping out of the division. It looks pretty unrecognizable from just a couple of years ago.

 

I’m fully expecting Jorge to get mauled tomorrow night.

 

Interesting card though. Entire main card is very good.

 

I'm fully prepared for Colby to walk right through him but I also have a feeling Masvidal has something up his sleeve for this fight

 

A lot of fighters seem to think Masvidal will win. He’s definitely going to be prepared.

I think Colby will stand with him quite a bit and that might cost him.

Main card is decent but Greg Hardy shouldn’t be on it. It’s crazy the Marina Rodriguez fight isn’t on the main card considering she could be the number one contender if she wins, but yet the women beating piece of garbage gets a main card spot.

 

I feel like people are assuming Colby will avoid the striking at all costs, but I don't know. He dealt with RDA and Lawler pretty easily, and I think both of those guys are superior to Masvidal. Masvidal might be a bit more explosive and he can change the momentum of the fight in an instant, but I still think this is a really bad matchup for him.

Rodriguez vs. Yan is one of the best fights on the card. Absolutely no idea why that isn't on the main card. I don't even know who the hell cares about Hardy. He's not good whatsoever and I've already had my fill of seeing him lose, so I don't know how he's worth whatever they're paying him (which is probably higher than everyone besides Jorge).

 

Masvidal is looking ripped

Yeah, both complete pieces of shit. Tonight I’m rooting for career ending injuries above all else

 

I get that they used to be friends and that’s the angle of this rivalry they’re trying to sell….but it’s hard for me to really buy into it when they’ve been jawing at each other for two years and have BOTH been smacked by Usman two times a piece since this all started. Definitely feels more like an afterthought of something that should have materialized a long time ago instead of forcing those rematches.

 

I’ll be really interested to see what this does buy wise.

Non-title fight card with these two in the main. Not much else on the undercard to drive casuals to buy it.

and I don’t think Colby or Masvidal are anywhere near the attraction they were over a year ago.

 

I hate Masvidal more, Colby is a douchebag but it's a straight up gimmick, it still doesn't excuse what he stands for in the gimmick.

I also think Colby smashes him in a couple rounds as well, I feel like it's a lopsided matchup. Never know though.

 

This card is pretty good on paper too which is the sad thing. Just not many huge names for casual fans.

 

I was hoping Umar would say something about Ukraine. Not often you see an undefeated guy get booed like that. lol
