A Weezer podcast I listen to called We’z Talkin’ Weez to Thee just put out episodes where they determined their album ranking and along the way they brought up the songs they rate a 10. Wondering what all your 10/10 songs would be? I love countless Weezer songs, but if I were to reserve my 10s for the best of the best, mine would be:

The Angel and the One
Miss Sweeney

Jacked Up

Just beneath those are a whole lot of 9.5s, including stuff like I’m Just Being Honest, Put Me Back Together and Ruling Me

 

Miss Sweeny, chorus - 10/10
Miss Sweeny, the rest of the song - 2/10

 

Jacked Up being on this list and no other songs from White is unhinged.

 

It’s a great album but that one is just so special to me! All the songs on White are 8s or higher, the next two closest to 10 imo are Thank God 4 Girls and LA Girlz

 

It’s just my least favorite by a mile lol, I know it’s a polarizing song. But LA Girlz and California Kids and maybe Wind In Our Sail are all 10s to me.

 

I like some Weezer a lot but still don't think I'd give any of their songs a 10.

Say It Ain't So and Only In Dreams are the two best songs ever written so that's two 10's right away

 

Across the Sea is their one true 10/10

 

The World Has Turned and Only In Dreams are 10s for me

 

The World Has Turned And Left Me Here is definitely in there

 

Every song on Blue except for "No One Else" is a 10, and that one's a 9.5. I'd have to put some thought I to it beyond that

 

Death and Destruction is a 10/10

All the songs on Maladroit are 8/9s for me, but nothing has TKO’d me just yet. Death and Destruction is amazing

Yeah King would be in the tier just below the concrete 10/10s that speak to me emotionally. King is a perfect song. That bridge!

 

Waiting On You is a 10. The “I asked you if you had a good heart” ending is just…another level.

 

We gotta stop finding new ways to rank.
