Decided to start today with HEADS and got it in two

 

I feel lied to... 4/6

And the Worldle literally wasn't even a country! I can do islands, I can do colonized territories that the British decided never to give up, but both at the same time? WTF!

4/6....guessed it on my 4th guess not thinknig that would actually be the word.

Pulled the last quordle out of nowhere to complete it today. Only had two letters, one in the right place, on my last guess. Threw a word out there hoping for the best and got it

 

Gotta love it when the happens... I got an 8 and a 9 today as well.... rather ugly.

 

Damn...failed the worldle for the first time. Goddamnit.

 

Also 4/6 Wordle today.

Quordle had some tough words today. I decided to start out with a few elimination guesses today though and managed to get 6, 8 , 5, 4 (clockwise). "Affix" gave me slightly more trouble, but I used one more sacrifice to get the placement of the F and figured it out.

 

I'd kind of be equal parts impressed and concerned about anyone who got it. That would take A LOT of staring at Google maps to get

 

I got in the right area but couldn't remember every country name in there and DEF didn't know shapes. got as close as 91% twice and 95%, but had no idea what country that was even after it told me

rotating starting words has both helped and hurt me haha

 

I got this in three based on your description (I don't care if it's a spoiler because I'm not good at this game). I just narrowed down the area and then chose something from the dropdown list that sounded close. haha.

 

Glad that my failure could be of use! To be honest, I didn't even think that would help much, but I had forgotten about the dropdown menu. I was so convinced it was Tuvalu at first, the shapes look so similar
Also, looking at a map, apparently this territory is disputed and Mauritius, which was my 6th guess, claims it, so personally I think I should get credit for this one

I just noticed earlier this week that the NYT wordle is not keeping track of my streak. It says that I've got them all right which is correct but the counter is stuck a 37 day streak every time I open it up and I've been playing this since early January..... should be up over 50 by now. Also it never remembers my dark mode setting. Kinda annoying tbh.

another one of those words where once you get it you're like duh but gonna be a lot of mad people today

 

3/6! Lucky guess, was just trying to use a word that had the letters I got with my first two guesses and it worked.
