It was a pessimistic reading of this, considering russian oil will provabbe off the table:

From OK, can confirm this is a dumb take. One of the only reasons I subscribe to streaming tv is for live local weather coverage.

 

The local weather station seems like a random thing to attack but idk why people even have cable at all. Just sign into your parents TV provider account on a smart tv for the important networks lol

 

The G/O Media strike is kinda odd. I guess only Kotaku and Gizmodo are participating? Deadspin and AV Club still seem very active.

 

Kotaku, Gizmodo, Jalopnik, Jezebel & TheRoot compromise the GMG Union that is striking. TheOnion, AVClub & Deadspin are part of a separate union, TheOnionInc Union. Not sure why they’re different, must be some legal thing.
