I forget how my prescription plan works, but I think they charge a max of $60, but all of mine are less than $10 each

 

Just a follow up on this.

I decided to do a traceroute on the site in question and then Googled the IP address where it started timing out and sure enough, it brings up a result in Kyiv, Ukraine. Jesus fucking Christ.

 

Here in Oslo masks now are being worn by probably 3% of all people I see out in public, whether on the streets or on public transport. Covid is over here apparently

Update on this: Just got an email from one of the people visiting from Florida. We had asked them to take a COVID test before coming and I was a bit surprised that they agreed. So, now I get an email saying that "I have a negative test from 3 weeks ago. Would that be sufficient?"

Like, no. Even if you had a positive test from three weeks ago that wouldn't matter. Do you really think you can't get sick in three weeks? What is wrong with people from Florida (with the exception of the very lovely people from Florida who are in this thread of course)?

On my way to work I had the radio on and turned to 101.5 Bill Spadea's morning show (those in NJ probably know about him but all the rest of you need to know is he is an insane conservative with the worst takes you'll ever hear) and he was talking about how the pandemic has actually been over since April 2020, and then made a comment about how "You see all this political theater with the masks, just like the war theater we are seeing in Ukraine with Russia, a lot of fake news going around you don't know what to believe".

Not even close to the worst thing i've heard him say but that one stuck out to me today. It's funny and scary knowing people think like this and have a bunch of listeners who agree.
