I feel bad for these people, but sanctions are just another form of attack. Its always the same people who suffer. Look at all of the starvation in Afghanistan right now. Sanctions really just seem like semi-delayed brutality, in the sense that the damage takes a little longer to take effect than instantaneously being hit with a missile or something, but it is definitely still there. And horrible.
