anthony posted somewhat of an update on twitter.

i think its worth saying, just from my perspective, its wrong to assume anthony's "mental health crisis" was a relapse when we know he suffers from bi-polar disorder as well. speculating on whether or not whatever's going down involved drugs is pretty harmful, as someone who also suffers from co-occurring disorders as well as addiction. people automatically assuming im using just because im having somewhat of a hard time with my other mental illnesses makes me feel awful and like i may as well just go use if everyone already assumes i am anyway. not saying anyone here said that but just something i think we should keep in mind

 

I also think BSN era is particularly difficult subject matter for ant and reliving it every night for months was probably not an easy pill to swallow.

Dear Creatures,

I'll be posting this everywhere later today but wanted you all to hear it here first on what’s been going on since I had to cancel the BSN tour. In the time leading up to the tour I had been neglecting my mental care which resulted in a complete breakdown that affected all areas of my life including my sobriety. Rather than taking healthy steps toward dealing with what I was going through, I isolated and it got worse. I’ve been using this time to be in treatment so I can get back to doing what I love with a clear head. I can’t even express how deeply sorry I am for everyone that this has affected both personally and financially. To all our fans, my band mates, our crew, support bands and everyone that this cancelation affected - I'm truly sorry and I'm taking steps to never have to put anyone in this position again. Thank you for your understanding and compassion.

Man it breaks my heart to hear guilt and shame come through his words about canceling the tour. Just shows how hurt he is at the moment. Much love Anthony.

 

Drummer Steve is also in rehab, or at least was heading in on the 1st, a week before they cancelled the tour.

 

They covered Come Heroine for the splitsville thing and it was fucking incredible. Touché did Act Appalled

 

Trying to not buy the $30 shirt but I'm not doing it very well.
