the power of elden ring

 

Glad you guys are all digging Elden Ring. I'll be sure to post my thoughts in two or three years when it goes on sale or I get it in Humble Bundle.

 

I finally beat the Distillery!

So I got to the Throne Room... and beat that, too!!!

 

Elden Ring was a bit wonky at first on my PC, but it's working fine now.

 

heavily considering just biting the bullet and grabbing elden ring but i should probably wait til monday since im working a ton friday - sunday

 

I'm working most of today and tomorrow which fucking sucks but I'm playing now and it's glorious!

I think having the mount is pretty great for new players too because it's super easy to just run hop on and run off if shit gets overwhelming.

 

i think i'm actually getting a little more into Dark Souls than i thought i would lol

 

I’m only two hours in but it’s absolutely stunning, and feels so fluid. Genuinely am loving it, and love the openness of it. The fear of “oh shit, should I even be over here right now?” Mixed with the constant intrigue of wanting to go to these beautiful and horrifying areas, it’s really hitting it for me.

 

Yeah I’m just a couple hours in, if that. God damn what a fresh coat of paint to put on a Soulsborne. I got humbled and started to feel like the feeble tarnished geek I actually was real quickly.

After having a nice little stealthy attack on an area I found and cleared I called it a night but it was a surreal experience to actually be playing.

i was using the pulse headphones and the game makes the most satisfying sound when you fucking smack something with a charged R2

 

the stealth attack is SO LOUD

 

Yeah! And you always have that feeling of ‘fucking DIEEEEEE’ so its perfeccccct

 

jumping back in, I’m in awe

 

Bout to head to a job interview and then its JFG ER all god damn day baby.

 

So the new Apex season is pretty good so far hub guys you’re all playing it right

Wife is taking our two kids (one of them is 3 weeks old) to her moms for a sleepover tonight to give me time with Elden Ring, so I will also be JFGing all day.

Played a little last night, going in nearly totally blind and I was surprised by how open world it is. Like, even having a map is a bit jarring in a from game. I have some worries about it but it seems really interesting so far.

 

I actually dipped my toes back in for a match yesterday and it was great. Got a sound bar with a sub so wanted to test out the gunfire. Game always has great audio. Didn’t try out the new hero yet.

 

Damn now that’s a true keeper of a wife.

The first “real” boss is going to be a brick wall for so many people. It feels like one of the harder Sekiro bosses, and has a billion hp.
