Cable news is infuriating at this point. Shit is happening on the ground right this second as people on twitter are pointing out, and yet it's all just pundit after pundit after expert coming it to talk about the same shit.

I know that's nothnig new htese days, but it's still annoying AF. You have reporters stationed in cities where bombs are being dropped right now. Maybe....go to them?

yea our tv news outlets are especially abysmal for international subjects. i turned on cnn for a few minutes and sort of felt like watching one of those bad espn shows where the pundits have to eat up air time by talking out of their ass about gameplans and schemes theyre clearly not privy to except its about people getting bombed and shit.

 

ive been sticking with BBC and on commercials i switch over to the other channels and it's absoultely embarassing to see "american news outlets" covering this. I went to fox for 10 seconds and no joke the first sentence i hear is 'lets figure out how this is Biden's fault".

Meanwhile BBC is literally just stating news. Going around the world and seeing how other countries are reacting, how ukrainian civilians are doing. There's no blame game, there's no political grandstanding, just information. HIGH FUCKING NOVEL IS THAT
