Very interested to see what kind of actions Biden announces at this upcoming tv address

And technically, if I understand SWIFT correctly, only SWIFT itself can remove Russia from the system, not any one government

 

Posting this as if she is now proven unquestionably right in these assertions is fucking hilarious

 

I saw a little bit ago that the EU is backing off on doing this right now

 

It does seem like a less targeted kind of sanction for sure. I've also read since 2014 Russia has been focused on sanction-proofing their economy so maybe they're looking for things that will specifically get around that

 

Yeah I am seeing that Germany is not supporting kicking the Russians out of SWIFT.

 

I have the tv on in the background when I work and shit like this keeps happening.
