A new show from Ben Stiller starring Adam Scott on Apple TV on Feb 18, 2021.

Turturro and Walken make it interseting, I bet, but .... Ben Stiller not doing a comedy?

Secret Life of Walter Mitty wasn’t a comedy and was very good.

Definitely intrigued by this. Surprised it’s not the novel by the same name, but that’s a good thing. That book was extremely dull.

very here for this, stiller has done plenty non-comedy, his most recent show was extremely dramatic in escape from dannamorra

I'm sure there's some dark twist underneath that makes it dystopian, but the idea of "forget everything in your personal life when you get to work and forget everything in your work life when you're not at work" sounds awesome

After one episode this seems good but it might seem better if the “expose the secrets of the big bad company” wasnt already obviously the theme here.

I think I might deeply hate this, but I recognize it's good and there's been a couple moments so far that have me wanting to stick with it. I just have kind of lost interest in tv/movies that make me feel this fucking bad.

  20. I can't explain the comparison, but I get a similar feeling watching this as I did with DEVS.

Was not expecting to love this as much as I do after the first 4 eps. Show is trippy as hell when they get into the reintegration stuff with Petey. I love the way he hard cuts in and out of his innie/outie perspective. Something about this show is so weird but amazing at the same time the way they mix in lots of horror elements while keeping it feeling very light most of the time. Its the psychological horror in the concept of severing that really gets me. Half of you never sees the outside world or knows anything about yourself while the other never knows what happens down in the basement, always relying on the trust/word of the company for any inside information. Can't wait for fridays episode.

I loved the "and it comes with handshake upon request" or whatever during the scene where he gets promoted. lol
