Rumors leaked? What rumors? What was out there is exactly what happened. They got offered a tour but couldn’t tour before so they canceled this one.

  7. The fact that it was correct doesn't mean the unconfirmed info wasn't a rumor though.

    It's chaos. Be kind. Prestigious

It sucks it couldn't have just continued on as a WCAR tour.

Was super bummed that Tilian got COVID so he missed my date of the DGD Headliner, so I'm really excited for this show.

Now I have to get into Coheed's discography... anyone know where I should start?

Coheed/DGD at Edgefield is nuts. I may have to hit that up even though it’s a pain in the ass to get out there.

Every single post in regards to the Senses Fail tour have been wiped from Counterparts’ Instagram

Also, WCAR said on their Insta that they have “an insane summer tour lined up.” So I’m happy they have something to fall back on from this tour being cancelled

    We called it @sam_might_say

He used the birth of his daughter as an excuse, and even said that he knew about that before announcing the tour

(Like I said previously, if he was aware about his daughter being born in March and needing to spend time with new daughter/wife, why announce a tour in that time frame...)

The conversation of it has done a complete 180 too. From Friday to now we went from “wow fuck Senses Fail that’s shitty” to “aww it’s ok we support you.” It’s so strange…

  18. It's blowing my mind that people are willing to excuse all of this obvious context because there's a baby / early infancy involved. It's increasingly obvious that they weren't cancelling without the RA tour.

Also, two more Bouncing Souls dates have leaked. May 8th in Morro Bay, CA with Strike Anywhere (which will be insane) and May 14th in Fresno, CA with Swinging Utters

i just want to chime in here and need to disclose that im not a fan of senses fail or any of the bands on the bill, have never really listened to them. it’s a pretty bold move to make assumptions about the whether or not he knew she was pregnant and is using that as an excuse. aside from the fact that the tour was probably booked at least a year ago if theyre playing like live nation type concert halls and didn’t know, let’s brush you up on some biology. some women, don’t know they’re pregnant until like two months into the pregnancy because of many factors specific to the woman - which is none of our business. secondly, miscarriages are most common in the first trimester so it’s still a waiting game which might make one apprehensive to announce anything.

just please don’t be so short sighted in trying to find the worst in someone when there is a very private and emotional matter going on behind the scenes which out of respect for his wife and him needs to be kept private.

I was just going off what he said in the post which is that he knew before the tour was announced she was pregnant, but apparently in the actual video he says he didn't know beforehand. So now my position is if he didn't know beforehand he should have just cancelled when he found out she was pregnant.

  23. Privacy notwithstanding, the rest of the world just doesn't stop spinning for your family.

It's not that he wants to do this for his family, it's that the other bands didn't have an opportunity to salvage something from the cancellation and Buddy's own statement makes it clear that they didn't make the choice until SF's alternate arrangement was locked in.

Every time I see Goose I think "oh shit Geese that high up already?" and then I'm like "oh who's Goose? I should look them up" and then I always forget, so I am now listening to Goose tyvm.

Buddy's wife has had issues and almost didn't make it after giving birth of their first child.

then i don’t see why everyone is making senses fail out to be the bad guy esp when it’s something they don’t understand. it sucks for the other bands yes but also like… you gotta do what you gotta do.
