Oh maybe that's what happened, but last time I got a notification and they gave me tracking it was here the next day. Hopefully it gets there soon man.

 

That's weird. Media Mail doesn't always update tracking though so I'm remaining as optimistic I can that it's on the way, just not being updated along the way.

Fun fact: Listening to the first 3 tracks on this album while driving home at night in the rain after having an evening of serious emotional contemplation and spiritual questioning is quite an experience.

Yep. It's early, but it's definitely starting to break away from the rest of his solo discog. Could definitely see this being my favorite AG solo release after a few more listens.

 

Album is awesome, but there's like... Zero chance I'll ever like it more than Beautiful Things

 

Mine finally updated that it actually shipped, won't be here until Thursday though. A little disappointing but whatever I guess.

Need to listen to this still. I'm going to do that today. Excited to dive into this along with any interviews he's done about it, given how personal this album's material is.

 

I really like the album! Great sound and lyricism.

This is his best solo album yet

 

I swear I have the worst luck with orders. Not only did mine ship late, but now it's stopped moving and is just stuck in a post office about 2 hours from my house. Every time a package goes there I get it the next or same day, but it hasn't budged since Saturday. It's really odd when some people got their orders a week early while others are still waiting; I've never really seen a pre-order that didn't ship all at once before.

Edit: I realize this is a little whiney, I'm depressed enough to not care though so bare with me. haha

 

Okay, what the fuck. I just checked my tracking and my package went from Greensboro, NC (2 hours from me. I live in NC) and now it's in Des Moines, IA. How and why

 

That doesn't make sense, I got mine yesterday. Hopefully it gets sorted out soon and it arrives.

 

It really doesn't, contacting USPS by phone didn't go well so I emailed but the site said it could be three days before I get a response. I'm a little worried about it being delivered to a wrong address, because I got the /500 variant and don't imagine I could really replace that seeing as discogs already has it at $50. Just feels like a little extra to bum me out after a rough couple of months. haha

 

Still loving this after several listens. Snagged a vinyl copy at a record store today!

 

Honestly, it might be my second favorite Anthony Green release from any project (Blue Sky Noise is first).

 

Last night's show was kinda amazing. I've seen Anthony solo 4-5 times and this was honestly the best he & the band have sounded, and my favorite setlist mix I've ever heard. I did the VIP thing as well which was way worth it, he was extremely nice and joked around with everyone, the acoustic set was beautiful and it was so cool to be in such an intimate set. I showed him a picture of the two of us from 2008 and he immediately said "I saw that on Instagram earlier today!!" and apologized for being on drugs, haha. It was really refreshing to hear that he actually seems to pay attention to social media.

OH and I totally forgot to mention, John Feldmann came out for "I've Been Dying To Reach You" (he produced it) and they fucking killed it together, John on guitar and backup vocals, so much energy, he was having a fucking blast, everyone was. I hope good video pops up at some point

 

Is anyone else still really enjoying this? It has had a lot more staying power for me than I thought it would, and it's becoming a fantastic beginning-of-fall/fall album.
