Adesanya is just flat-out better than that entire division. His size and reach is just too much and outside of Cannonier and Strickland, he's quite literally cleared the entire division out during his UFC tenure.

For history sake and for memes, we need Alex Periera to climb just cause outside of Jan he's the only person that's beaten the dude.

 

Went about how I expected. It was definitely close, but the scoring was correct. I honestly don’t know what Izzy does next outside of fighting Cannonier just because. He’s hitting Usman territory where it’s mostly just rematches available to him.

The wildest timeline is where Khamzat dethrones Usman and then moves up and takes out Adesanya.

Bobby Green vs Islam is the new fight.

 

Green is crazy for taking that fight.

 

Last weekend was the most I’ve ever heard anyone talk about Bobby Green and he got a huge reaction from the crowd. He seems to be having a late career pop kind of like Masvidal. A win over a hot prospect like Islam could send him over the top.

 

Jim Miller should not be getting this quality of wins at this point. That guy is so impressive.

 

Damn, Walker got knocked out cold. It’s crazy how many of these LHWs have been knocked silly by each other. There aren’t too many of these guys who have made it through without getting viscously KOed.

 

Walker remains one of the most overhyped guys in the last decade of the UFC.

 

UFC should have treated him like Venom Page and fed him cans for 8 fights or so.

 

I totally get the concept of using your broadcast team to boast interest, but they just factually say shit that isn’t true to the fight game and make so much biased commentary it’s kinda obvious these days? Almost too on the nose.
