Only watched the first two episodes, but this show is so damn good

 

Gonna be a fun 5 weeks following this to the end

 

New episode is up

 

Photobooth, the mystery texter typo, the you only get one shot twice callback, and “so like sip instead of gulp” all got me really good lol

 

Great ep. I love that Chelsea is completely coherent and with it in her version of the night.

I love how awful every piece of art Xavier made was and how he looked up the wiki synopsis of Parasite to sound smart

 

Do y'all think there is an actual mystery to solve here as far as one the audience has enough to go on? I tried skimming through the other episodes last night to see if it seems like there have been actual clues. I noticed one thing that is probably nothing, but maybe not:

In Aniq's version of the night, when Aniq wakes up and is freaking out, in one of the shots it cuts to a few characters in the middle of the room. You can see a person slightly out of focus in the background, it looks like it might be Brett....who in his version of the story is in the driveway at his car at this exact moment.

 

that would be pretty bad storytelling but i guess not impossible

my money is on ben schwartz or dude who know one recognizes imo

 

I feel like the guy no one notices is too obvious, so I hope it’s not him. My best guess right now is Ben Schwartz, but only because he’s so involved in the entire story but hasn’t been an obvious suspect as of yet.

 

I haven’t caught the most recent two, but Yasper and Zoe were my top two guesses. The Jens seemed a little sus to me too but I haven’t seen enough of them yet

 

Never would have considered Ben Schwartz since Xavier was supposedly helping his career, but now that I think about it, Ben could have totally lied about all of that. I've been suspicious of Zoe personally.

 

I also haven't watched the latest episode yet so maybe my opinion will change tonight

 

Yasper would make sense, there's history if not a motive and he also has knowledge of the house layout that no one else does. Is it only Aniq's version where he's there right when Aniq wakes up and storms upstairs?

I agree Walt would be too obvious, but I believe he is one of a handful of characters we don't know where they are in that moment.

 

I think it's Yasper and the ska video was a distraction (unless I'm misremembering and we see him in the living room the entire time the video is playing)

 

Yasper was my guess around episode 2 as well but each episode throws a new curve ball.

 

Yeah, this has been my exact line of thinking ever since it was disclosed that Yasper installed the entire home system, and his motive would seemingly be about how Xavier ditched him when they were younger and got famous and now was seemingly trying to wiggle his way out of blessing Yasper’s new song

 

Him installing the AV system stuff also feels like it's being mentioned way too much to be insignificant

 

Just caught up on the last three — the high school and animated episodes were so good lol

That makes sense. I’ll miss this cast, but I’m so happy it’s renewed. This show has been so fun
