Looks like the instagram integration is still having issues. Modern Times closing a lot of their locations:

As of the end of this week, we will be closing our Portland, Oakland, Santa Barbara, and Los Angeles locations. It is a surreal and painful turn of events for us, and we realize that the suddenness of it puts many people we care about in very difficult positions. We wish that there were another way to resolve the financial issues we now face, but we have been put in a position—by the pandemic and global declines in the craft beer industry—from which this tremendously difficult path is the only way forward for us. While it is a path that we feel will lead to a renewed vision and new life for Modern Times, it doesn’t make taking these drastic measures any less heartbreaking. An instagram caption doesn’t seem like adequate space to go into great detail here, but we have prepared a statement on the closures and what’s next for MT, which you can read via our blog (link in bio). We know we’ve asked a lot of our friends and family within the last 2 years, but if we could ask just one more thing, it would be that you pay some of your favorite beer enthusiasts a last visit this week.

Damn feel bad for them.

 

I'm so glad I got out of the beer industry. It's so dire right now and sudden closures happening without employees knowing until day of or close to it have become too common.

 

Crazy. My local bottle shop got one of their releases last week and I was like oh that sounds good I’ll have it and it was $34 for one bottle and I was like nah, I’ll pass.

 

I might have said in here before, but my wife got me into the Modern Times league this year so I'm getting a ton of their stuff and it's been great. Also, I'm only about 15 min from their Anaheim location, feel very lucky that one is staying open

 

Definitely feels like the craft bubble has popped, and it’s getting hard for these companies to maintain. Lot of people also seem to be flocking to whiskey/bourbon now, which is creating a mess with that for availability lol

Need to expand on mezcal and tequila. Currently only have the Cutwater selections. Mainly because I worked there for 15 months.

 

The best cross section of price and quality for mezcal is simply Montolobos, it's so damn good

Ive had The Brown Note before and there’s no way the can cost me more than $3 or $4.

 

An easy decision to boycott a brewery I live less than 5 minutes from and have spent $$$ with over the past 5+ years.

 

Super disappointed re: Threes. What an idiot. Especially because I’d assume the majority of his employees disagree, and now he’s hurting them as well.

 

Right?! I’ve never seen against the grain so over priced. I mean, almost any price is over priced for them imo but especially $16 lol

 

Where is that brewery? Maybe they don't have distribution in California so it's hard to get?
