    They’re still playing arenas and sheds, and it’ll sell well. Plus this is probably one of the only rock shows that will come through these towns. I’m happy for the bands finding success in markets and I’m happy for the people who get some entertainment in an otherwise quiet town

    This. This is a...slightly controversial topic to discuss but I think these C and D cities still have some sort of white working class which major markets really don't have any more and that tends to be the audiences for these post-grunge bands. Also, I guarantee both those acts (in some form) will be on a major market shed tour this summer.
