    Got a light?

They were rehearsing the songs in order on IG live but it just ended in the middle of it, not sure if they are gonna come back on

  5. The front half of this is a bit stronger for me but the highs of the back half are as good as the front. Amazing record

  6. The Jew's Harp (I'm allowed to call it that) on "Spud Infinity" is so good. I love that sound. Always reminds me of being a kid and my dad playing Not For Kids Only by Garcia/Grisman

Listened to this on and off today more so as background music than fully listening. I have a long run tomorrow and I think I can carve out part of that run for this 90 minute behemoth and see what I really think of it.

I liked most of what I heard but I feel like I’d have to be in a certain mood to listen to this but who knows.

Finally got time to listen and god, they are so good. If they weren’t my favorite band before this record they definitely are now

Yeah, the chorus has been in my head since it came out as a single. So catchy and I love singing the little yodel

I need some live TV performances to hold me over before tour. Hopefully they perform on one (or more) of the daytime/late night shows in the coming weeks.

idk about top 5 (so much good shit here and I have only had 2 full listens) but it really really clicked for me last night. sounds like a technicolor fever dream or something idk.

Someone in the "Albums in Stores" thread said Adrianne sounds like a goat on this record and that's the strangest comparison I have ever seen for her but it made me laugh that someone actually said that

def don’t hear goat at all lol but she does have a v distinct tone and it strikes me as like … idk, vaguely witchy?

Just finished listen 4 or 5 and the one song not really doing it for me is 12,000 Lines. There's a couple others I'm not completely in love with (both disc closers), but they still feel inventive and fresh. 12,000 Lines is fine but the closest thing to a filler track here imo. That all said, I think there's legitimately like 15 or 16 perfect songs of the 20 though and the other handful are good so I'm much more in the 'the length is a strength' camp than the opposite.

Weirdly the song I’ve had stuck in my head the most today is Wake Me Up to Drive, which I didn’t really consider a major standout but obviously has that easily memorable hypnotic quality
