Yes, definitely all of this. I think it's a bit absurd at this point that we haven't changed the definition of fully vaccinated to include boosters, considering how much more effective they are, even against hospitalization (I believe this was from Britain, but I recently saw a report that 2 doses were 57% effective against hospitalization while the boosters were 90%). We're still very much stuck in the whole "if you get vaccinated, you're fine; if you feel uncomfortable for any reason, you can get the booster to assuage your fears" deal. There was never any urgency around the boosters, like the way it was during the initial vaccination campaign.

That being said, I do question some of the numbers that the CDC has been putting out. Like how over 100% of seniors had gotten their "first dose" until the CDC decided to fix the number permanently at 95%. So, clearly some boosters and probably second doses as well are being mislabeled as first doses. But I wonder how significant a number that is, and obviously that shouldn't stop us from really pressuring people to complete the whole series

I’m fully vaccinated but technically haven’t received a “booster”. I had to have 3 full Moderna and my booster will be in June when I actually receive a half dose. Which is fine with me since we’ll be heading to the Dominican in August.

These sorts of tweets really need citations. Basically if you saw some right wing shit post like "70% of vaccinated people are now unemployed" you'd ask for a citation. we should uphold these kinda tweets to the same standard.
