  17. Still kinda think this is my favorite recording of either of these bands. Sounds like Naked City

This album is absolutely phenomenal. For me, it has only gotten better on subsequent listens.

Totally agree...been a while since an album made me feel the way this one did!

  21. Last night I listened to both black midi albums into both BCNR albums. I think I still personally prefer black midi but wow what a little scene those guys have going. 2 bands, 4 albums, all insanely good. Between these guys' Brixton Windmill scene and the jazz scene based around Total Refreshment Center a lot of the most exciting new music for me is coming from London.

Never listened to black midi before but if its comparable to this album im on my way!

  23. They're definitely sonically different, a lot heavier, but still have softer, beautiful moments that are the most comparable to this. The association is definitely more social than musical, but there's some similarities there. Worth checking out regardless

This album is really good. A different sound from their debut but you recognise them in an instant. It even made me like the debut more, which I prefer just a tiny bit more.

Also, I would like to say that the album version of Sunglasses is better than the single version. I know it's a hot take and I didn't like it at first, but it has grown on me a lot!
