Oh well at least they'll be on Game Pass day one, right?

 

It's surprising considering they're holding all of Bethesda's new IP hostage, but they'd be stupid not to do it. They'll make far too much money to not do it. Having the games on GamePass day 1 is a huge enough incentive and advantage to get people into that ecosystem, they don't need console exclusivity also.

Jak and Daxter is perfect for video games, it does not need to be a movie. Just make some new characters up ffs.

Jak and Daxter could have easily kept pace with Ratchet and Clank, its a real shame it got abandoned.

If a Jak and Daxter movie is what it takes to get the games remastered, it’s worth it

I don't know what the fuck this is, but it looks intriguing while also reminding me very much of Bioshock meets Wolfenstein.

 

I said this in the Nintendo thread, but I love Square Enix forever for remaking not just Front Mission, not just Front Mission 2, but also Live A Live. Fucking stoked. Now we just need a remake of Bahamut Lagoon and Treasure Of The Rudras.

 

Hard to know what to make of this. I’d be pretty surprised if this included new IPs

 

Sony did remake Ratchet and Clank when that movie dropped so not crazy to think it will happen

More a commentary on how I totally forgot about it until just now.

 

ive said it before and i'll say it again: very few, if any video game IP's need to be made into movies or tv shows. historically, its always been a middling venture at best and a downright embarrassment at worst, and none of the recent video game adaptations have necessarily changed my mind (although the witcher netflix series is pretty dece, though that more closely follows the books).
