Xeno 1s story rules, combat is meh. I’m only a few hours into 2 but it seems the opposite haha

 

It's a good JRPG for people who haven't played a lot of JRPGs. I could list like 75 that are better.

 

I have no desire to play them but I love how all the covers are a person or a group standing in grass with some big ass monster in the background.

 

Video game movies are basically never good.

Game looks real good but anytime I play Olli Olli I have fun for ten mins them shut it off haha

 

I doubt I'll play this for more than that.

This week has been a bunch of games that are objectively incredible but do next to nothing for me (both Olli and Sifu)

that said Olli has the best soundtrack since THPS2.

 

Yeah, I really enjoyed one of them but it got super repetitive after maybe an hour. The challenges were cool.

Despite costing me as much as three months of Gamepass, RE8 did not take three months to complete haha. So after three months off playing RE8, HZD, and replaying New Vegas I resubbed to Gamepass again.

I still think it's so wild that Gamepass is only $10 a month, I don't expect it to stay that way. Netflix has been increasing their price and as long as there's the occasional hit like Squid Game or whatever people don't seem to mind.

I noticed MK11 was on Gamepass, minus the DLC campaign. I was able to get a refund on Steam by saying I bought it on accident, which is kinda true I guess. I really do enjoy Netherrealm story modes, so I'm a little bummed that the DLC isn't included, but Gamepass has a lot of other stuff I've been meaning to check out, or return to.

 

I don’t see myself ever letting my Game Pass sun lapse again. Its the best deal in gaming.

 

It's funny that this conversation is happening because the last few days I have had thoughts of cancelling my Games Pass subscription. With me currently playing Returnal and PLA along with Fortnite/Destiny 2, there's been no free time to play or think of using that service. Horizon and Elden Ring release dates are nearing so there really won't be any time in the next few months.
