I cannot do a track by track but I think it’s excellent on first listen and I think there are a few kinda surprising/cool things they do here and I love the last three tracks on disc one especially

it's really good y'all. only listened through once so far but it is disorienting and beautiful. 100% their white album/tusk/hail to the thief/etc. it sounds like they had so much fun making this. some of the quiet acoustic numbers are my favorite, just stunning.

also I got 1 black vinyl and 1 eco? ordered eco, but don't really mind.

 

What’s the eco look like?

 

almost exactly like the mockup but slightly darker. a red-ish brown

 

after a handful of listens I am HUGE on Heavy Bend, Flower of Blood, Blurred View, Love Love Love, and The Only Place. That collection of five songs is so weirdly eclectic and they all work so well. this album strikes me as something I will listen to so much for a very long time

Love Love Love sounds like a 70's Neil Young song

I’m dying. This has been the longest week of my Big Thief fandom. Pray for me.

 

They go crazy horse mode frequently on this album and I couldn’t be more pleased
