My left thumb stick pad ripped on my white one (my fault, I dropped the damn controller and the pad got loose) it was driving me crazy. I traded that one in and these 2 joy cons I got on Offerup for 20 bucks because they were broken and I just had nintendo fix them for free (they just send you new ones) and both of those pretty much paid for this dualsense.

  4. I hate my LG. It was great then all of a sudden when I use apps like Netflix the sound cuts out every 30 seconds. Reset the tv to factory settings, used the tv speakers, sound bar, etc, nothing I can do to stop it. But watching normal TV or using a Roku is fine. Incredibly weird.

You could have gotten a lemon because they are very good tv’s. Sorry that happened to you.

  6. Yeah I'm sure I did. It's a very nice tv otherwise. And it's not even that inconvenient to use the Roku but it just irks me lol

  7. Me: "Huh, house full of creepy dolls. I hate dolls. No weapons, though, so it seems like this area's just a puzzle to look for key items. I can do this in one sitting, I'll be fine"

    "I am not fine"

Just finished Kena: Bridge of Spirits, and holy shit how is that Ember Lab’s first game?! Loved every single thing about it the whole way through.

Edit: Hate that the platinum is hidden behind Master difficulty though. No way, no thank you.

This video was fascinating, as it shed light on a few things about the project that I never knew or never completely understood.

I'm still not happy that Capcom cancelled the game, but I think now I'm shifting my vitriol more toward Inafune. Why would you announce a game before it's even officially greenlit? Why get people's hopes up like that? Especially when it was never made clear that the user input was keeping the game on life support? Like... they put it in a position to fail, which in light of Inafune's post-Capcom career, doesn't really surprise me. He's proven he's really good at setting things up to fail.

I also never knew that they were working on that Maverick Hunter project, and all I can say about that is yikes. I mean, actually, if it was in the hands of people who worked on Prime, it might have turned out good, but I do agree with Capcom on this one that it would've been too radical a shift depending on how it ended up.

Going back to Legends, I don't really blame Capcom much in the end. It was always going to be a niche title, and based on what this video explains about 3DS gaming at the time, I can see why they pulled the plug.

That said, I feel like now is a much better climate for this kind of game. Like, do like Bloodstained and Shenmue and crowdfund the shit out of it. Then put it on all consoles including Steam. It'll never happen though, cause they're cowards.

Also, totally unrelated, but I'm gonna voice an unpopular opinion: I enjoyed the Bionic Commando reboot. I never finished it, but what I played of it I thought was pretty awesome. The whole grapple mechanic was just super fun.

Adding more to my above post about Legends 3, I'm getting madder the more I think about it.

When the game was announced along with the whole fan-participation thing, I thought to myself, "Man, what a cool idea to let the fans participate." I didn't participate myself because I'm not a fucking game designer and I don't have time to sit around brainstorming ideas for them to use. I presumed that the company was making the game and this was just a cool way to let the fans join the process.

If they had made clear the real situation, I would've made time to participate, although I also would've given them fresh hell for such a fucking stupid idea. Like, if fans in general had known that the production of the game was intrinsically linked to them being active participants, I guarantee there would have been more activity going on. Why would people actively participate if they assume they don't have to?
