thematically it worked, but the crowd was definitely 80% P.O.D. fans who were shocked by LS and NJ.

 

Was it a bunch of parents who were expecting more songs like Boom and Alive that they hear on the radio and less like Imminent War?

 

Wasn’t one of the dudes from living sacrifice in POD at one point?

 

100% It was all 40 year olds and 8 year olds

edit: So I just looked it up and apparently Norma Jean, P.O.D. and Living Sacrifice have all shared members over the years, so the tour makes even more sense than I thought. And LS's guitar player used to play drums for Evanescence apparently

 

I saw Living Sacrifice YEARS ago and they were awesome

They had a guy that was literally pounding an anvil

 

Yep Jason Truby was part of P.O.D for two albums that I still consider to be their best ones.

This basically sounds like what I'd expect a hybrid of Neurosis and Amenra to be. It's pretty solid, but I'm gonna wait to order until it releases.

 

I remember back when I was a teenager, I went to a family reunion and I met a guy in the family who was really into Christian metal and he played me some Living Sacrifice and I was impressed. He also told me that Slipknot, Korn, and Tool were all satanic because of course he would.

 

I really like that cover art, it’s so mysterious yet sinister.
