Fucking yes. I won't participate in the Kickstarter, but I will buy the shit out of this when it actually releases. This is absolutely my jam.

If you would've come and told me that in the year of our lord 2022 that I would be excited for a Kao The Kangaroo game, I would have asked you who the hell you are and why you're in my house because you are clearly a madman.

  3. New Vegas third DLC was a lot of fun, I liked it a lot more than the previous two. Cool weapons/enemies, interesting setting/lore, and colorful characters.

Before I start the fourth DLC, I completed a few more companion quests. Which required quite a bit of console command manipulation, since I'd apparently missed a lot of quest triggers while traveling alone. Met a lot of elder characters through Raul's and Arcade's quests, that was interesting. I was only really invested the quests for Veronica, Cass, and Boone, though. I remember liking Fallout 4 companions--and their quests--a lot more.

This might be out of line, but how does Yacht Club need a kickstarter for their new game? Isnt Shovel Knight one of the biggest indie games out there?

  9. it's very weird, their official reasoning is to foster a community and to be able to take all the time they need. it's 17 people working from LA, the 300,000 they're asking for doesn't even pay for a few months of office space

They need to get the heck out of la that’s probably half of their budget

  11. I mean an indie studio with a slew of hit games should be able to afford to live just about anywhere.

That said as long as triple A publishers offer full price pre-orders in advance of their games being anywhere near shippable and mired in delays, it's hard to fault YCG for wanting a little more monetary security.

I personally will most likely not kickstart Mina but you betcha I'll be there day one.

In the interest of factual accuracy, I'm not sure I would call Yacht Club's output a "slew".

Taking into account that every DLC released for Shovel Knight has been free for owners of the original game, the only games they've put out other than Shovel Knight are a compilation of the Azure Striker Gunvolt games on 3DS, Cyber Shadow, Shovel Knight: Pocket Dungeon, and Shovel Knight Dig, with the latter three only coming out in the last year. They didn't develop Cyber Shadow and co-developed the Shovel games with other people.

Not saying this changes anything, but it might.

Second half of game and DLC carried it, especially the DLC

Now I'll ACTUALLY go back to FFXIV and try to raid until Elden Ring is out

  22. the first two leaked Dying Light 2 reviews are a 7 and an 8 respectively. Calling it clunky but fun and a few bugs and technical issues.

Spent some time with the tony hawk 1 and 3 remasters last night, bought it when it dropped but have very rarely played it. it’s a lot of fun and very faithful to the originals
